Billowing Barley

AA Pic of the Week At least I think it is barley. Correct me if I am wrong. I just love the movement, lines and texture in this shot. You can literally follow the path of the wind. Had the sun been out, the lovely greens and yellows would have been even more of a feature in this picture.

Are you by chance one of those aliens who apparently create curious crop circles? ;-)

haha that brought back memories Swen.

When I was a kid we used to pluck those and separate the tops. Then being the brats that we could be, we used to throw them like darts at other kids, they would stick in their sweater and as Lynda said... itchy time like crazy.. LOL

Eric - You naughty boy! Did the same job as rose-hip seeds down somebody's back, I guess!?

There's something very soothing about the photo. It reminds me of the moment I sat at the end of my pier in Belize, see photo, and experienced pure LOVE from nature. I'm a little bit like you. Born in Copenhagen, lived in Africa, moved to Paris, then London, then Scotland, then S. California then Belize and now back to Southern California. Where next?

Davs, Gutsywriter! Thanks for dropping in, and I am glad you appreciate the photo. Judging from your many places of residence, I guess you have the same problem as I have, which place to call 'home'? (BTW I am from Malmö!)
