Lynda at Lulu's Bay had put up a picture of the view from her kitchen window in Cairo, and asked her readers to do the same. So here is mine, the result of an earlier attempt to stitch photos together with my camera. Let's see how Blogger handles this kind of picture. (Click on it to enlarge!)

OH NOOOOOOOOO... are you kidding me! LOL that is beautiful and such an incredible contrast to my view. I love it... might have to pop in for a cup of tea one day, just so that I can gaze out that window while I am washing the teacups.
Thanks for taking part, cheers Lynda
You're welcome,Lynda. I do apologise for the somewhat not-so-green grass, though. I usually watch wildlife while at the sink, being mostly a house-husband, but also part-timer. I'm gradually becoming a bird expert! Tweet tweet!
What a gorgeous view!! Haven't mastered the panoramic views with my camera. So much to learn, so little time.
REALLY???!!! WOW beautiful... I'll post a picture tomorrow... nothing like your view unfortunately...
Martha and Lillian - Thanks for dropping by. I don't remember how I did the stitching, for once I used the manual (despite being a man!), and the pic is from early summer, as you can see. It's not quite as beautiful at the moment. :-(
Great view Swen, we use photobucket to put things together.. video's mostly.. any vid is what we have in our backyard.. :)
Eric - I have checked now, I did it with Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 on my PC, not the camera itself. Those programs are certainly useful.
I've posted by view at http://hamlife.blogspot.com/2008/02/view-from-my-kitchen.html. Your garden is a lot bigger!
OKay... you see green, I see green.... but your green is making me green with envy!
And I've tagged you in a tiny meme myself: http://acrossthelana.blogspot.com/2008/02/tagged-open-book.html
Nice backyard!! It is very interesting looking at everyones backyards.
Sue
Matthew - does size matter?
Traveller One - I'll do the meme today. Thanks for the invitation.
Sue XX - Being nosy is a strong human trait, isn't it?
That is just a devine view! WOW!! I can imagine the wildlife coming out of those trees!
Mine is very uninspiring! Don't spend much time at the kitchen windo though, so I don't mind!
My sister lives in Germany. She is a ballerina, married to a local, living in Manheim.
Juz - the view is lovely, and it is the same looking out the glass patio doors. Watching birds at the feeder is great entertainment while we're eating.
Gorgeous view!
Mine is at www.decorina.blogspot.com
Cheers!
